June 2025 Updates
Dress Code
The Wedding Day
Women
We kindly ask our female guests to wear attire that’s in line with a black tie celebration.
Think:
-
Evening or cocktail dresses
-
Chic formal gowns
-
Stylish dressy outfits you’d wear to a red-carpet wedding
We’d love to avoid casual styles like day dresses or summer beachwear - this is a chance to dress up and feel amazing for a special evening.

Men
Our groomsmen will be in tuxedos, and if you’d like to wear a tux too — you’re more than welcome to!
But if a tux isn’t your vibe, that’s absolutely fine!
We anticipate most men will opt for cooler lighter coloured suits
We kindly ask that you wear:
-
A smart suit in any colour except white,
-
A crisp shirt,
-
Tie or bow tie is optional — whatever feels good to you.
-
Black tie Kilts are welcomed too!
Think: elevated evening style, whether classic or your own personal twist.

Farewells & Departure Day
All good things must come to an end, but not without one last coffee, a final stroll, or a quiet moment to soak up Florence.
There are no scheduled events today, so you’re free to enjoy the city at your own pace, do some last-minute shopping, or simply relax before heading off.
We’ll be around for hugs, goodbyes, and reminiscing, so if you’re still in town, don’t be a stranger!
Thank you for being part of such a special week.
when & where
We are getting married on Thursday 31st July 2025.
You are invited to spend 5 days with us in Florence, Italy from Monday 28th July to Saturday 2nd August 2025

Flights
Option 1
Flying direct to Florence (FLR):
You can catch direct flights from major London airports (Heathrow, Gatwick, and Stansted) to Florence's Amerigo Vespucci Airport (FLR). It’s the quickest way to get right into the city.
The T2 tram line connects Florence Airport to the Santa Maria Novella train station in the centre of Florence. The tram ride takes about 20 minutes, and the trams run frequently throughout the day.
Option 2
Flying to Pisa (PSA): Another option is to fly into Pisa International Airport (PSA). Pisa is well-connected to London airports and only about an hour's train ride from Florence.
The PisaMover connects Pisa Airport to Pisa Centrale, the main train station in the city center. The journey takes approximately 5-8 minutes, and the shuttle runs every 5-10 minutes from early morning until late at night. Once in Pisa Centrale, you can hop on a train to Florence: there is an average of one train every hour, with a travel time ranging from 50 minutes, to 1 hour and 20 minutes.
There are direct bus services that connect Pisa Airport to Florence, which can be a convenient option if you prefer not to take a train. These take between 70 - 90 minutes.

We will be going with Option 1.
